I've noticed a lot of request and bugs reported but they're seems to have been no activity on this for a month.

I know people work on these projects in their spare time etc and I'm not complaining, it just seems to have gone quiet.

Yes it's still being developed. You are right there was a slowdown. I recently had twins and was on parental leave then back to work. So I'm getting back into the swing of things. I have a laundry list of items I plan to tackle with the long weekend in the US.
