Is Hamas responsible for everything Israel has done during the current war then?

Surely 2000 people is more valuable than a leader, that was already dying and got replaced in not even 1 week.

Are the illegal immigrants who did bad things responsible for what ICE is doing?

You're responsible for what you do in self defense, if it hurts innocent people.

When someone threatens to punch you in the face for over 30 years, and then one day they walk up and punch you in the face, and you punch them back….

By your logic, you are the aggressor, not the person who punched you in the face after threatening to do so for 30 years.
