I think there is a very real chance Israel will drop a nuclear bomb on Iran, if you look at how radicalized the Israeli culture has become about this war you can clearly see there are no offramps, and no cultural or political mitigators to stop Israel from escalating violence more and more until the use of nuclear weapons becomes the only possible next step. If that moment comes, Israel will take it unhesitatingly with the belief it will force the US to double down on support for Israel no matter what because things have just turned genuinely into World War 3. You think Stephen Miller is going to talk Trump down?

The public narratives about Iran are openly fascist in Israel, it is terrifying. You have to search long and far on Israeli news outlets to find any coverage of what is happening that actually humanizes Iranians as anything more than a pawn for the Geopolitical aims of Israel (i.e. a paper thin support for Iranian resistance fighters who will destabilize Iran for them).

The US sure as hell won't stop Israel, not until it is already too late, by design.
