So we used too much linseed oil, so we had to burn it off so we could recoat it with a lighter gunoil.

I agree not enough is being done and people who agree need to push harder and actually do more to enact change but still, giving people, doing blacksmithing as their craft, shit for not caring enough doesn't help in any way.
