Why should this lever not work?
Nobody is sending their soldiers to die for his impulsive, poorly thought out war. especially after he has spent years antagonizing allies.

Wouldn't the billionaires tell the Republicans to start an impeachment if the war was just Trump's idea? It's like the ballroom. Turns out, it wasn't Trump's idea to tear down the East Wing.
Yeah it was pitched to him. We know Lindsey coached Israel on how to sell the war to Trump. But he did ultimately agree to it and he's the commander-in-chief so its ultimately his responsibility. No other president agreed to this stupidity.
CEOs continue to brown nose him despite his tariffs being bad for business as he at the least will rubber stamp their mergers and other anti-consumer policies.
It's Trump's responsibility but others could intervene. Soldiers don't have to execute illegal orders and Congress doesn't have to finance the war and the media can become much more critical and can call for a general strike.
The elite agrees with Trump.

Nov, but they might decide to do a suicide mission in the ukraine in a desperate attempt to stop any blowback from nazi terrorcells deciding they lost the war bc of germany and wanting to retaliate.
The year is ~~1945~~ 2027 and it's a mad dash to the Nazi capitol to prevent those dirty Russians from being the sole captors and thus being free to ask some very uncomfortable questions.
Also how can the western powers possibly run NATO and develop aerospace technology without pardoned nazis-in-exile?
