I can't tell if these are migrating or local. In eight years here I think I've only seen one before. At first I thought it was a crow funeral in the distance, but when I got closer it was two huge trees full of them.

While I was searching for their range I found a local thread about it from 2014. Apparently it's a longstanding roost that they use every summer. Some NIMBYs back then cut down a third of their trees to build on their lot and it was only the city's urban forest that kept them around. Urban Greenspace Gang Urban Greenspace Gang screm-cool
