❗️Statement by Hamas:

"The Israeli occupation army’s decision today to close the Rafah crossing and prevent the travel of patients and the wounded for treatment abroad under flimsy pretexts constitutes a new crime against humanity. It reflects a fascist approach targeting our people as part of a systematic policy that violates all international humanitarian laws and conventions, in full view of the world.

We affirm that this blatant occupation behavior, along with its daily violations of the ceasefire agreement, reflects the desire of war criminal Netanyahu and his government to evade the agreement. This places great responsibility on the guarantor mediators to compel the occupation to abide by what was agreed upon and to hold it accountable for the consequences of this recklessness and disregard for the lives of civilians and the sick.

We call on the international community, the United Nations, and all concerned parties to take urgent and effective action to pressure the occupation government to adhere to the terms of the ceasefire, stop its ongoing violations and daily aggression against our people, and ensure the reopening of crossings, foremost among them the Rafah crossing, to guarantee patients and the wounded their right to treatment and life."
