I fail to see the connection. Europeans are far too weak to deny the US use of their airspace even if the US does pull out of NATO. What are they going to do, shoot them down? Lol.
They will strongly condemn it.

Sorry, by 'transiting' I mean landing & taking off from UK & German military bases.
