MODERATORS
Hey it was Trans women who started the pride movement. It was Trans people who fought for queer acceptance, prior to stonewall. The gays get credited for it in Canada, but it was the Trans who pushed the boundaries.
I'm not at all debating whether these groups deserve attention, sympathy, or respect. It enrages me that it's a question at all. But my point still stands - one of these things is not like the others. I'm not being an asshole. It's just a fact.
