Why they would wan to expand is beyone me. Especially with hon kong. Honestly if they improve enough you eventually might have taiwan wanting to become a part but they have to just be chill and benefit from their manufacturing position.

They rushed HK instead of going slow, can’t see Taiwan ever going peacefully after that disaster.

yeah its got to be long enough both to show they are doing things differently and for it to be forgotten. They would have to sop the naval shenanigans and such. I doubt they will do it I more just look at their position and its another one where they just had to go with the flow and it would have gone that much better. HK is a good example. They should have been very very slow with the whole thing.
