Just look at this shit. We have two screenshots from Fatal Frame 1, one screenshot from Fatal Frame 2, the cover of Silent Hill 3, and the piece de resistance, a screenshot from Silent Hill 1. Some real hidden gems plus a PS1 game lenin-rage

These Youtube thumbnails are a government psyop to drive me to the brink of madness

misleading thumbnail aside, i don't think any of the actual games in the vid are even that obscure except maybe haunting ground

Haunting Ground and Rule of Rose are technically obscure games as they had low print runs and sold like ass, but they've gained large cult followings and are pretty well-known as far as niche PS2 games go. Pretty much every horror/PS2 adjacent content creator has done a video on them at this point. Echo Night: Beyond is a more interesting pick since it's on a lower tier of notoriety. (Interesting that they had HG and RoR but not Kuon, given that the three are often grouped together.) I don't mind any of those three being on the list, but the presence of Fatal Frame in the list and Silent Hill on the thumbnail is the real low-effort YT clickbait offense here

ObsCure is an outlier since it's a co-op game and the only non-Japanese game on the list. I know it has its fans but I don't think I've ever seen it listed among survival horror greats though maybe that's just Japanese elitism. It's not talked about too much so I don't think it's a horrible pick for this sort of list
