Is there something about being gay that means you can't care for children?
More like you care a bit too much for children.
Gay men are not pedophiles. Gay men are interested in other men, not children. Don't be a bigot.
They aren't "exclusively homosexuals" because they're pedophiles. And that's a much smaller percentage than so-called heterosexual pedophiles, so why aren't you worried about heterosexual doctors?
Yes. Pedophilia is a sexuality, and if you insult me again, I will block you.
So one is born a pedophile? Typically your crowd claims people are born with their sexualities, and they cannot be changed.
What is my crowd?
I'm not "pro-LGBT," I'm pro human rights and human dignity. That applies to everyone regardless of their sexuality.
And yes, some pedophiles are born that way. Others are very psychologically damaged due to the abuse they themselves suffered. Still others just enjoy having power over an innocent and it's not even about sex. The world is not as black-and-white as you seem to think it is where all gay men are pedophiles and all straight men love and protect children.
You're trying to change the subject from your ludicrous insinuation that all gay men are pedophiles. I'm not going to indulge you.
Me:
You:
Liar.
Sorry, I don't indulge liars either. You made the ludicrous and disgusting suggestion that all gay men are pedophiles and now you won't even own it. Cowardly.
Yes, anyone can see it. I quoted you. You absolutely did. Now you're trying to gaslight. I am not twisting anything. You didn't say some gay men. You didn't clarify and suggest it was a percentage of gay men. Your comment implied it was all gay men, you know it, and you're being a coward.
Since you want to split hairs and argue about some hidden implications, instead of actual substance, the comment obviously implied that a man from a "risk group" for pedophilia (for lack of a better term), working exclusively with children, getting so upset about anti-lgbt laws likely is a pedophile.
Now that i've microanalysed my own comment for you, would you care to tell me whether sexuality is an inborn trait one can't change?
It implied no such thing. Nonsense. Sorry, you don't get to rewrite your lie and I'm still not changing the subject.
Pedophile is a disease. It's very likely that they are born with it. There is a case of a person with pedophilia which was caused by a brain tumor. Once the brain tumor was removed, the pedophilia was "cured".
I believe that homo and heterosexuality is determined by birth, even if it's not, I respect everyone's sexuality/ preference as long as they don't harm other people. Pedophilia is another case. The act of pedophilia is hurting the vulnerable children.
79% of male convicted pedophiles in the US are heterosexual. That's a much higher number.
@Finnish_nationalisti The only conclusion you can make from that is that the vast majority of child molestation is done by heterosexual men (which has been backed up in the research time and time again). Also churches and other religious institutions play a disproportionate role in child abuse. Want to keep your kids safe? Keep them away from church.
@Finnish_nationalisti You’ve missed the point entirely.
Sorry, i mistook you for the other commentor. Although my point still stands. The majority of pedophiles are heterosexuals yes, because 95% of the populace (in US) is heterosexual. But 21% of pedophiles are homosexual, while only around 5% of the populace is homosexual, meaning homosexuals are statistically way more likely to be pedophiles.
With quick maths when there are 750 000 registered child predators, of which 21% are homosexual, that means there are 157 000 homosexual child predators. That means 0,009 pedophiles per homosexual. The same number for heterosexuals is 0,0019 pedophiles per heterosexual. This means a homosexual is almost five times (4,7) more likely to be a pedophile compared to a heterosexual.
That is quite a significant difference, and certainly warrants discussion wouldn't you say? Why is brining up these numbers forbidden?
So a fraction of a fraction means that this one gay doctor is a pedo?
So, you think this guy goes around fucking children with heart diseases? That's where your mind goes?
More Republicans turn out to be pedophiles or abetting them than LGBT people. Just ask the Republican House about their former speaker Dennis Hastert. And while you're at it, you should ask them why they still follow Hastert's Rule and haven't renamed it.
Oh, and don't forget churches! More priests are pedophiles than gay people, and they get protected by their religious institutions.
Maybe conservatives should figure out why they keep running into these disgusting people in politics and in religion, and how these people get promoted to positions of power. It wasn't Democrats who made a pedophile the Speaker of the House after all. Could it be that part of what Republicans are trying to "conserve" is...?
