I've been influenced by enough youtube videos and i'm gonna cave and start playing romhacks, so:

which ones are good? I've probably heard about Uranium, Radical Red, Elite Redux and the Fusion ones the most
and what's the best and/or easiest setup/config? Platforms are either PC or Android phone (Pixel 10 Pro XL) and my presumption has always been that most are GBA/DS roms and therefore the right emulators are needed, but also some are standalone or need plugins? I'd probably preference getting emulators going on my phone so any android setup recs are appreciated.

Actually, there are some regional variants in Odyssey come to think of it. Regional variants is one of my favorite features in a hack so that's a huge plus there.
