I’m currently using Memmy and it’s giving me Apollo vibes but I’m open to testing out other apps ^^

As a kbin user do these apps work for that or not? I chose kbin because i prefer the web UX.

The web ui is solid, but still patiently waiting for the Artemis app. Looks like it’s shaping up nice.

Kbin doesn't have an API yet so the apps in development for it are scraping thier own. Artemis is looking incredibly promising and the dev is great.

I've been using a firefox shortcut for Kbin and it's been working great though in the meantime (mobile).

I've tried using the firefox shortcut on my phone, and it's less than great (imho). I can't type replies, it goes all janky, freezes up, won't go back to the home page, etc. Virtually unuseable.

testing myself in a second... lets see

Ok this works well for me. Easy to read and navigate. Perhaps try again, maybe they fixed it.

What device are you using? Perhaps its something with my google device not wanting me to use firefox.

Working fine for me. Galaxy S23+, latest Firefox release.

I use kbin as well. As you stated, the interface is appealing.
I just migrated to the Lemmyverse so I'm trying new stuff out but so far, kbin is for me.

Tried lemmy and hated all that whitespace, kinda reminded me why I dislike normal reddit and always used old.reddit instead. So yeah, im a kbiner :)

You can browse in dark mode. It is available in the settings. Some instances allow for compact dark mode as well.

I went from never using Lemmy to using it so much more just from that simple change.
