I guess the press in the USSR was also capitalist controlled because the propaganda there was so blatantly false people made fun of it constantly.
Lenin really didn't get how a vanguard party is just another form of bourgeoisie power.
well, the USSR was state capitalism masquerading as Communism.
Didn't the USSR start out with planned economy and switch to state capitalism after Stalin? I can't recall rn though it was definitely a planned economy at some point. It wasn't ever socialist though.
Everything belongs to the people, and as an avatar of the people's collective will... everything belongs to me.
