We have heard you. We apologize for the confusion and angst the runtime fee policy we announced on Tuesday caused. We are listening, talking to our team members, community, customers, and partners, and will be making changes to the policy. We will share an update in a couple of days. And that haven't actually promised to fix it. "We'll look at things and adjust" is basically saying "we'll wait for the dust to blow over and then not significantly change anything".

If they were really sorry they'd revert to the previous license and give it a fixed time period
