Ok, link me to the bill. Because every outlet I have seen says the opposite.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world -2 points 1 year ago

You are being misled by sensationalized media. Bills are not hard to track down.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

Then feel free to track it down and show it to me. You made the claim. It's not my job to research it for you.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

read the fucking article that's being linked lol

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

The article that doesn't link to the actual text of the bill? I did. I clicked on the link in the article. It doesn't show the bill's text. I'm starting to think you didn't actually read it yourself or you would link to it.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world -1 points 1 year ago

Senate Bill 12 would have prohibited performers from dancing suggestively or wearing certain prosthetics in front of children.

Doesn't ban drag shows.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

That's not the text of the bill. Please show the text of the bill. You said it was easy to find.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

Go on google, type Senate Bill 12 texas, and click the first link

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

If it's that easy, you can paste the URL. Again, it's not my job to do your research for you.

But then it's pretty obvious you haven't actually read the bill yourself despite telling me to.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

You got something wrong with you. Don't spend so much time on the internet being annoying like this, it's not good for you.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Insulting me doesn't change the fact that you clearly didn't read it yourself despite telling me to.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

I did read it. You can easily prove me wrong right now but you refuse to. Whatever man, just stop responding if you don't want to engage honestly.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

If you read it, give me the link. I don't believe you.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

When you calm down and look back at this later you'll realize how petty you are being.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

That was the second insult. You get three before I block you. I have no interest in Reddit behavior.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago
[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

I guess you've given up on all pretense of having read the bill at this point.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

How does me linking the bill in any way prove I read it?

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

At this point, it doesn't. It's clear you didn't. Too late to try to prove you did. You've had many, many opportunities, all of which you refused to take up. And it's obvious why.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world 0 points 1 year ago

I'm serious, take a 10 hours break and come back and ask yourself if you are being reasonable.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

I think it's very reasonable to disbelieve you read the bill. You've given me every reason to not believe that.

[-] cricket97@lemmy.world -1 points 1 year ago

Ok you're fucking crazy. That's strike 3 can you block me
