  1. Men abuse women

  2. Women avoid men and give up in general

  3. Men: shocked-pikachu frothingfash "Maybe abusing them harder will work?"

Is there any way to know what's going on in the DPRK regarding these issues?

[-] kristina@hexbear.net 33 points 1 year ago

Dprk is at 1.82 births per woman vs ROK .84

There was a book called Women Have Better Sex Under Socialism or something right? Maybe this is what that book was talking about? Idk, a comrade mentioned reading it during a meeting.

Yeah, by Kristen Ghodsee. It's a pretty good little book.

Not to be confused with the book "Men Spread Better Asscheeks Under Socialism" by Kristen Goatse.

Proof that Juche is also unsustainable. Checkmate commies.

I dunno. It would be very interesting to compare the two and see if there are differences

I don’t know about the DPRK specifically but most AES states have been firmly committed to equality and made significant strides for women well beyond even their most progressive counterparts. I’d be shocked if the DPRK were any different.

My assumption was that they'd be better, but I didn't want my pro-DPRK bias to color my opinion before I knew any better. I could imagine how being isolated and having to fight through a lot of hardships brought on my American war and sanctions could have created less than ideal social hierarchies.
