This is the third attempt they’ve made to work with that guy that actually got routed to me because their salespeople don’t do their due diligence. Shocking.

Edit; a little extra context: I have an email alias on a domain similar to one he might use, and regularly receive email addressed to him. Reddit marketing folks reached out in a less cookie cutter manner a couple times last year, this is more of a mailing list outreach attempt.

Wait a second. Reddit is reaching out to someone currently in jail because he is suspected to have run a human trafficking ring? And they want to work with THIS dude? Jfc.....

"Human trafficking" sounds so much nicer than "rape and enslavement" which is what he's specifically charged with.

Let’s split the diff and go with: human trafficking, rape, and enslavement.

Is that different than human trafficking? Wtf else do humans get trafficked for?

Forced labor is also common.

Largely construction and agriculture

My non legal opinion is trafficking involves moving people around, say from one town to another town or a country to another. While entrapment would be preventing them from leaving where they currently are.
