I'm curious what little neat things you guys have found or adopted while playing.

Could be for base building, finding ships or multitools, or whatever.

What's your favorite?

Edit: I recently found out you can shut down Sentinels on a dissonant world, but the dissonant resonators stay up, so you can run around whacking all of them without retaliation. Lots of frolicking from group to group picking up loot from dead Sentinels and unarmed dissonant resonators.

It also completes all the Autophage "kill 8 sentinels" quests in one go if you've stacked up on those.

Farm Dissonance Resonators on planets in Pirate systems so you don't have to fight sentinel ships every time you destroy one.

It takes awhile to find a dissonance planet in a pirate system just by warping over and over but it's worth it.

Just fly around very slowly and blast any you see to farm inverted mirrors and echo locators.

Use echo locators to farm sentinel ships (18 to 32 mil each?) or just click them every time you go to a new system to see if there are any ships/multitools to check out.

I found with the cloaking thingie for the multitool (forgot what it's called, sorry) I can just amble right up on foot to a dissonance resonator, whack it, then go invisible long enough for the sentinels to forget about me.

...if I get into a big fight, then they get too riled up and my Invisibility Cloak (tm) runs out too early, but if I just kill the one it covers me just long enough (about 9 seconds) for them to go, "Whelp, must've been the wind..." and calm down.

So on nice dissonance worlds, I can just frolick on foot from resonator to resonator, killing freely, lol.

You can also hide underground using the terrain manipulator :-)
