This is basically their argument.

"Sure Biden explicitly said he wouldn't build one new inch of wall but these are funds that were already earmarked and if they don't use them it goes away so it would be a waste of money not to."

Whats the actual law here? Like is it that the money should be used by x date for y purpose or else it's forfeited, or is it an actual mandate that it MUST be used by x date for y purposes or etc etc

Obviously, whatever it is, they should say fuck no regardless, but im curious.

I don't think it's even that. They're waiving the clean air and clean water acts to build the wall so if there is a law saying they have to spend it I'd live to hear some liberal explain why Biden can ignore thenlaws about protecting the environment but not the ones that say you have to spend money on racism.
