MODERATORS
I'm pretty sure that the programming "fix" is pretty easy to bypass as well.
They have a recall to reprogram the car so that if you lock the car with the key fob then it will not start.
However I believe you can program a key fob if you turn the ignition on and follow a sequence of button pushing.
You could simply buy a cheap fob online and break the ignition lock and program the new fob, then you can unlock the car and start it.
Ps there's other cars out there that don't have immobilizers and would be much more dangerous than a Hyundai or Kia.
You can buy a cheap set of keys that will start any construction equipment if you want to. Let's make that a TikTok challenge.
