I live in the desert so tell me about it. I fill up my feeders and put water in the bird bath.

Brown bird, smaller brown bird, big brown bird, brown bird and sometime later a scrub jay! It's blue so that's new. Then smaller brown bird, big brown bird, brown bird...

These guys are probably the most striking local birbs I've seen but even then they're pretty rare around urban areas like what I live in. Also they're still mostly gray/brown

The best I get are northern flickers. Before I developed an interest in birds - I had no idea woodpeckers could be so colorful
