The principal of an Ottawa public school has apologized for asking a student to remove the Palestinian flag as their profile picture.

The article states in was an online class, and the student had it as his profile picture, so I'm assuming it was clearly visible in whatever teaching app they were using. I don't think that counts as your personal life tbh.

Yeah I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask him to take it down in that case. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Same if it was an Israeli flag.
