Nice. I was just looking for that to demonstrate to a friend who was looking to switch to Linux.

I remember back in the day, Linux users couldn't shut up about that damn cube. It was the coolest thing on Linux, apparently. I've been using Linux for almost 20 years now, and I've never seen it.

I was never much of one to use multiple desktops, but visually, back when XP was the best Microsoft had, it felt like magic to see your windows show up in 3D. Things like wobbly windows and flame closing also seemed like magic. Someone truly outside of what was possible on Windows. In the end they were a fad, but they were a good demonstration of the power and customizability of Linux.

I'm also going to need some confirmation that wobbly windows will still work in plasma 6 before I commit to an upgrade.

I'm still using them tbh. Non-wobbly windows feel old school to me now lol

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
