If someone gave Ben Franklin a Keffiyeh he'd wear the thing around, incorrectly, for the next year. But blah blah blah desecration
He would 1000% use it to pick up women claiming he was a world traveler who has seen exotic sights (and wants to see one more exotic sight nudge nudge wink wink)
The way we remember Ben Franklin is basically just Danny Devito but slightly hornier.
He seems like he'd be pulling off those Trudeau publicity stunts constantly. You may not like it but this is what a modern Ben Franklin would be like:

Didn't Ben Franklin learn Arabic through his own copy of the Quran, or am I thinking of a different guy?
Think that was Jefferson. Supposedly he was big into studying religions, and I seem to remember the first Muslim in Congress being sworn in on the same Quran.
It was Rashida Tlaib, but I think it's an english translation of the Quran!

Apparently the Jefferson Qu'ran thing came later and he was sworn in using a "regular" Qu'ran.
Apparently he created an edit of the bible that took out all the miracles and just focused on the stuff that could be applied to secular thought.
