It's not just the game industry. All over the world companies are recording record profits, while still raising the cost of everything and cutting wages.
There used to be a recession every 50 years. Now they're every 5 years because they have so much control they don't need to hide it anymore. Recessions are incredibly good for the rich. They get to socialize the losses and buy up cheap assets everywhere
