MODERATORS
Counter proposal: Keep Thanksgiving where it is, and elevate MLK Jr Day and Presidents Day to serious holiday status. Bonus points if we can also get Patriots' Day widely recognized and celebrated outside of the greater Boston area.
Bump here. The problem isn't too many holidays close together here, it's the vast swath of "non holidays" between Christmas and Memorial day. It's essentially 5 months of no long weekends or family - unless you're somehow lucky enough to be at a company that actually observes MLK or Presidents day.
I would also like everyone's birthday to be a paid holiday.
Sucks for those leap year babies.
