I'm finding it slightly encouraging that even though we in the West are being so heavily bombarded with pro-Israel propaganda, there have still been a lot of pro-Palestine protests. I made a batch of hummus and used a suggestion to add an iceblock in at the end, at it came out super smooth. I kinda prefer it a bit more aerated/porous rather than creamy, but it was cool to try out that trick. It's easier than shelling the chickpeas, or boiling them with bicarb to get the same texture, so I'll take keep it up my sleeve.
Also got the ingredients to make the vegan eggnog looking forward to trying that out (I rarely eat sweet stuff so it'll be a treat).
Also had some nice watermelon on Monday. I love watermelon. I know this is far from cool, but idk, it's what gets me through the week.
