I've been extremely lucky and get virtually no side effects after the initial first few weeks, which weren't fun but still better than a lot of people. I can take atomoxetine on an empty stomache but I've heard many people like OP who can't. Since I didn't get any nausea in the initial period, I chanced it on an empty stomach and that's the way I take it now.
Yea i take it in the evening same time as my girlfriend takes her pills(not ADHD pills) but since it's quite a while after we ate dinner, I'm basically on an empty stomach, but as long as I drink more than enough to swallow i dont get nauseous, but if i take it with out liquid i do get nauseous, and sometimes burps with the taste of the pills, so i get more nauseous
