MODERATORS
Been playing Rimworld, on that yearly binge of it. Probably going to see to finishing my Paper Mario TTYD playthrough I left on hold right before the train chapter.
As for 2023's games? Basically, I do not care for new releases, very rarely do I buy a game at launch and I play most games years after release when they are cheaper, or I pirate them if I'm unsure if I'll like it. My only exception this year was Pizza Tower, which I still have to finish, should be easier now that I finally bought a gamepad.
Paper Mario TTYD is supposed to be the best one, though admittedly, I've never played it (only the very first Paper Mario and Super Paper Mario).
Also, I can understand not wanting to "keep up" with new releases or buy a game at launch; you're much more free to play whatever you want otherwise and not do to "FOMO."
I haven't played the first Paper Mario but I can vouch for TTYD being really fucking good
Ah, I would skip the first one then since TTYD is supposed to be everything the original game was but better.
