Any food that can be found in Malaysia, originated from Malaysia, found in Malaysian food market/restaurant oversea, or food prepared by Malaysian.

This is just what I learned from Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern, they smell like gross feet and taste like custard
Indeed it's a polarizing fruit. One way to find out is to try it out yourself. The processed flavour version is mild, but is also most widely available.
