Is the app "too big" for anyone else?

Sometimes the app becomes bigger so that it goes under the Android navigation buttons. A restart fixes it. I couldn't find out what triggers it. Android 13 on a Fairphone 3.
Does this happen to anyone else?
I've never seen that before- If you are able to figure a consistent reproduction, please let me know.
Otherwise, changing device orientation and back may 'fix' the issue without requiring a full app restart.
Changing the orientation does fix it without a restart, thanks.
Still don't know what's triggering it.
