The UK will provide £2.5bn of military aid to Ukraine over the coming year, Rishi Sunak has said - Britain's largest annual commitment since Russia's invasion.

The PM made the announcement during a rare visit to the country, where he will also sign a new agreement supporting its long-term security.

Officials said the package will provide Ukraine with long-range missiles, air defence and artillery shells.

Some £200m will be spent on drones, most of which will be UK-made.

Supporting the oppressed and needy is so 2022

I think he's referring to the Tories' ability to make money disappear into private pockets. In this case removing it from Brits pockets and not making it to the oppressed and needy either. Rather than helping the needy and oppressed is bad for Brits.

I doubt the vast majority of that money will make it anywhere near the needy. Itll likely be weapons, and logistics among unlistable military spending. Some 'charity' work at the ends of it with . Who do you thinks establishes amd runs these private companies, or get rich from the heads up on investing into them. Happens everytime opportunities to spend huge swathes of public funded free money can be directed by very few without any say in any of it.

I'm all for supporting refugees and victims of unhinged country leaders but funding into schemes such as these are clear scams by self-agenda'd government swindlers such as Sunak. Look into the businesses his wife has her greasy fingers in while hes had the extra power.
