I still find it hilarious how they thought they could sell this as some sort of a frozen conflict.
The problem is when the truth finally comes out the people who were misled will find every possible excuse to allow themselves to be misled again rather than admit western media pushes a narrative regardless of what the facts are.
Indeed, we're gonna see a lot of mental gymnastics happening this year as people will keep trying to rationalize this as a win for the west.
Might be wishful thinking. They were hoping this would be a perpetual stalemate that would slowly bleed Russia dry.
It's pretty likely that they managed to convince themselves of that.
