Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said the government will be requiring parental notification and consent if a child 15 years or younger changes their name and pronouns at school.

Is there data that shows lower suicide rate when transgender support (?) is provided?

*Not sure if support is the right word, but just generally curious if there's data around this sort of thing

Yes, support and gender affirming care does reduce the rate of suicide.

It's the same any time you treat a person like a person and with respect. Every time a marginalised group gets accepted and understood, more of them survive. The less people saying they are evil or not deserving of care, the more survive. The less we restrict things thay will help them, more survive. This has been proven time and again.
