Teslas have bad indicators. On older cars it's a two stage stalk

• First stage: does nothing, or indicates once, or three times, or until a turn is completed or a lane changed as the car prefers
• Second stage: indicates until turn completed or indication cancelled

Later cars have buttons, so presumably just the first stage

BMWs at least have regular blinkers
