If China is just starting to gently press the communism button again there isn't a chance of a developing nation doing so without adequate productive forces. Nationalizing extraction and essential industry and doing land reforms are first and foremost. Just pressing the dotp button immediately wouldn't work, the conditions of not being absolutely bulldozed by the west need to be met first.
