No, it's not. Austria won't ever join NATO bar being directly attacked themselves.

Unfortunately countries in an active military conflict are not allowed to join NATO. Good luck.

There's no hard rule against that IIRC, it would just be an awkward situation because it would imply that NATO should immediately become involved in the conflict.
