In no way different from using iOS, Windows, or stock Android. You're basically saying "I don't care if the USA spies on me".

And the frustrating thing is that there aren't many alternatives for phones. Alternative Android ROMs have limited compatibility, and some manufacturers (esp. Lenovo/Motorola) like to play games with revoking warranties when using alternative ROMs.
My next phone is going to be a Pixel, not because I like Google or the phone itself, but because GrapheneOS works on it. I just want a simple smartphone, I don't even care about the camera or other features, I just need a browser and a handful of basic apps.
I wish the Pinephone had better battery life, I'd totally use it.
