Thanks, I couldn't find a non paywalled version of this, but definitely worth posting given how explosive a revelation this is.

Yeah unfortunately Public’s copy of the same article is also behind Substack’s hard paywall, and Dem-aligned corporate media of course aren’t going to be interested in reporting on it.

The whole paywall thing is becoming a serious barrier to information access. This also lends itself to subtle abuse and censorship because new agencies can paywall content they want to suppress. So technically they're still reporting on it, but majority of people won't see it.

Or clever grifters can post content to entice a gullible demographic into paying for some confirmation for their beliefs.

Seems like the only gullible demographic here are the people who still believe in Russiagate given all the evidence to the contrary. Turns out grifters didn't even have to make them pay a single penny to confirm their biases.

There is no revelation though. It doesn't even make sense. Why would the republican controlled house be sitting on information like this?

Taibbii is a hack. Read his Wikipedia page https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matt_Taibbi. It's full of "things" he did as a journalist, none of which is investigating or doing any journalism.

The revelation is that the Russians preferred Clinton to Trump because Clinton was a known quantity. The whole Russiagate conspiracy theory has already been shown to be complete nonsense, but people just keep clinging to it

Maybe try engaging with the facts of the situation instead of attacking Taibbi's journalistic skills.
