Or clever grifters can post content to entice a gullible demographic into paying for some confirmation for their beliefs.

Seems like the only gullible demographic here are the people who still believe in Russiagate given all the evidence to the contrary. Turns out grifters didn't even have to make them pay a single penny to confirm their biases.
