The targeting of peacekeepers is “unacceptable”, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), a peacekeeping force that helps monitor the Israel-Lebanon border, said in a statement on Saturday, adding that it was still investigating the origin of the blast. ⠀

Two security sources told the Reuters news agency that the observers were wounded in an Israeli strike, but the Israeli military denied targeting the area.

Headline reads like "man wounded by bullet" as if explosions just happen.

Yeah shame to see that from Al Jazeera

Reuters initially claimed it was IDF but the IDF said "wasn't me" (probably a lie) .

Since there's no conclusive evidence yet Aljazeera can't blame israel because they'll get a shitstorm of IDF bots losing their jimmies if there's the slightest chance they're incorrect.

Probably because the explosion has not been attributed to anyone or anything yet.

It does say it was a shell at one point in the article, though that could be tank or artillery, or it could have even not been fired but turned into an IED.

I give them points for reporting the exact facts, nothing more or less.
