Something that happened or was uncovered recently anywhere in the world. It doesn't have to have global implications. Just has to be informative in some way.
Post guidelines
Title format
Post title should mirror the news source title.
URL format
Post URL should be the original link to the article (even if paywalled) and archived copies left in the body. It allows avoiding duplicate posts when cross-posting.
[Opinion] prefix
Opinion (op-ed) articles must use [Opinion] prefix before the title.

Title and associated content has to be in English.

Avoid all social media posts. Try searching for a source that has a written article or transcription on the subject.

All communication has to be respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences.

Giving a genocidal government the bombs and planes violates the Lehay law...
So we give them billions of dollars first.
Then "sell" them military equipment, funneling billions of our tax dollars to private defense companies.
Meanwhile a bunch of shitty people make a bunch of money, and brown people die in the worst abuse of human rights since WW2.
I'm not sure how much has been given to Israel in total the last few years but I think it was about 3.8Bn in 2020 and a package of 14.1Bn in February divided as follows:
Listen, Israel is trying to commit genocide and Biden is an incompetent old piece of shit because of how he has handled this, but that's no reason to claim we directly gave them 18Bn in money when we didn't, it just makes us look stupid. Factual correctness is important if we want to stand a chance in debates.
