I don't know what he is capable of thinking, but that's a kind of fucked up thing to put him through.
Pretty sure he's only in a defensive posture because the plate was just plopped right in front of him. Crayfish are cannibalistic scavengers so this would actually be a welcome sight.
They aren't really capable of higher thought. They can basically feel an equivalent of pain and then it's just basic instincts.
you have no idea what they do or do not experience. You're straight up making shit up. Nobody has any way to tell
They are literally a nervous system with a body. They do not have a brain the same way we do.
you still have 0 idea what it is like to be one. Don't make me explain the hard problem of consciousness, just admit you're making this up.
