My toddler likes to watch steam train compilations. No commentary or anything just videos of old trains usually at museums. I must be doing something right
Do they like those videos filmed from the conductor POV?
No they mostly like the side view with lots of steam coming out

Yeah put them on a dose of cabride videos. Japan had cabride videos for almost every railway line in the country, as long as you search them in Japanese.
I watched one from Norway and one from Switzerland. Great videos
