Developing a lightweight frame that passed FRA standards is a promising accomplishment because it provides a zero-emission alternative to the expensive overhead electrification that’s common in Europe, but is prohibited by the FRA on freight lines in the US.

You should brush up on your reading comprehension because the lunch was literally free, people did not pay for lunch or, if we consider your view, far less than what the lunch is worth. The point is that you could pay only for the cost of beer and the lunch comes free. If you bothered to read the Wikipedia article you would see that "These establishments included a "free" lunch, which varied from rudimentary to quite elaborate, with the purchase of at least one drink. These free lunches were typically worth far more than the price of a single drink.[1] The saloon-keeper relied on the expectation that most customers would buy more than one drink, and that the practice would build patronage for other times of day."

It was a marketing strategy for bars, sell at a loss and gain a profit another way. The point remains however that they would literally give you a lunch for free, something that I did not know actually happened.

I know I've made posts about this locomotive before, but just look at it. It is the best-looking locomotive ever made. While it never officially broke the world record for speed, there are rumors, the fastest of which was rumored to be 152mph, leaving the Mallard speed record of 126mph far in the dust. While I doubt that actually happened, doesn't it look like this train could keep that pace?

The fact that you can go past the killscreen on level 29 is amazing in itself, but life beyond the killscreen is incredibly difficult. Once you pass level 138 the colors change and glitch out, you have to avoid game-ending glitches and pass the infamous Dusk, and on to level 235, where the level lasts for 810 lines rather than ten lines. What awaits at the bottom of the rabbit hole? Do we dare to find out? scared

Oh yeah, I forgot about rebirth. How could I forget about rebirth? ohnoes

I love modern art (external-content.duckduckgo.com)

When I go to an art museum, I want to see the craziest shit they can throw at me. I like looking at the old paintings and seeing the layers of paint and admiring the talent that went into it, but throw something titled Red #2 or Untitled and shit is about to get real. I want to have to figure out if there is actually art there or not. I want to look at the goddamn wall and think it's art and have the curator tell me that it's just a wall. I want the curator to tell me a dick joke and then tell me it's part of an art exhibit. I want to eat pasta and look at paintings of absolutely nothing.
