It needs a loop so it's fun for the crews. Otherwise they'll just get bored if it's straight like that. Maybe there could be a ramp over a cool jump.
You joke but this is one of Robert Mosesβs cited reasons for making multiple expressways that connect two parkways on opposite sides of Long Island (instead of any kind of trains): So the visiting metropolitan family donβt have to double back the way they came.
Much like OPβs proposed project, they used state power to bulldoze right on through wherever they wanted (unless you were rich enough and wanted them to go some other way)
