no literally when I was 10 my fed ass 5th grade teacher searched through my notebook and saw all the comics I was making with occasional dark themes and gore (it wasn't that bad I just thought it was cool and I had a lot of lore about my characters). I had to go to therapy sessions and they implied my mind was fucked up because my parents were divorced and my mom worked too much
tipping point was when I skipped school one day because I didn't want to take a test and stayed up late playing plants vs zombies (other than that I had all A's). the school called the police when they noticed my absence, CPS got involved with us and made my assistant-nurse mom feel like a failure
I remember some end boss of an NES/SNES game (I think) that looks like this? But red and black. Had a sick boss theme too.
