A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

As someone who is not young, I kind of agree with OP. It's not uncommon for me to be going about my day feeling all spry and happy, and then I walk past a mirror and I'm like "WTF? Who the hell is that?"

I suppose it's relative. I'm an old fart to a young adult, but I'm young to a senior.
